Pure harmony for a Shropshire wedding.
When you’re all musicians, you have your very own festival.

Preparation is key…
As musicians and artistes, Evie & Joel know how to get all the right notes in all the right places! Evie’s prep at a fabulous historic barn https://rytongrange.com/ was a chorus of laughs.

A wedding dress fit for the star of the show!
Her stunning dress fromhttps://heavenlybridesofshrewsbury.co.uk/ featured delicate appliques of leaves with sequin details.

The delicate details emphasised her stunning smile, the wildflowers of the cottage garden framing her perfectly.

Bridesmaids…
Just the reaction you need from your girly crew. All decked out in vibrant shades to reflect the fun of the day.

Dad’s first look.
The first man you ever loved, your rock, your musical mentor, your Dad.

When the Church is bursting at the seams!
St Edward’s Church in the small village of Dorrington, Shrophire is important to them, and was full to bursting with their family & friends. A vibrant, lively service from the amazing vicar, including all their favourite hymns. All sung enthusiastically, in perfect harmony…well it should be with 50% of the congregation being musicians!

Mr & Mrs.
Having made your vows, listened to your chosen bible readings and exchanged your rings https://www.fhinds.co.uk/ , you’re finally married and ready to party.

Celebrate good times!
The short walk to the village hall was a rousing parade. Lead by a Samba Band. Drums, percussion, flags, colour, dancing & joy through the sleepy village certainly entertained the locals.

It’s like rain on your wedding day.
Everyone played & danced their way onto the playing field behind the village hall. A perfect opportunity to get the drone up for a birds eye view of Evie & Joel encircled by the drummers & waving flags. The eagle eyed amongst you will spot a few brollies… yes after weeks of blazing sun, the rain started. But it’s supposed to be lucky!

Guard of Honour?
Some couples have swords, some have bicycle wheels, Musicians have drums. The sleepy village was aroused from their afternoon naps!

A little oasis for elegant couple portraits.
Tucked at the end of the village playing field, the tiny community garden gives some glorious colour against the grey clouds. No ‘Mr Blue Sky’ to be found. A quiet time together away from the hullaballoo.
Well, quiet for a few moments, laughs are never far from this pair. They know how to enjoy every moment.

Sealed with a kiss.
Even the garden shed gave a great photo opportunity. A brief moment of peace on the windswept afternoon. Very brief as the best man stood a few feet away with the brolly to keep them dry on the dash back to the village hall. Got to keep that snazzy suit from https://www.moss.co.uk/weddings/suits in tip top condition.

If music be the food of love…play on.
Music is in their blood. They live & breathe it.
Evie has been in her family band since she could get herself on her feet. Teaching music to our very young children. Being a member of her own wedding band https://www.groovedynamite.co.uk/and joining Joel in their own duo act too.
Joel is a composer and leads a music department for a prestigious university.

Music, music, music.
Their musical talents have brought them so many musical friends from far & wide. Many making special trips to join them and to perform short sets with their individual bands. Singing & dancing the night away, everyone having a right good time.

Elegance, decorum….nah, we’ll have fun instead.
Joel & his groom’s gang had spent all the previous evening ( & into the wee, small hours) decorating & preparing Dorrington village hall into party central for everyone. See the admiring looks of appreciation. Great job guys.

The grand finale.
Colour & joy with the bubbles to say goodnight. 2 minutes of serious, then back to fun!
