Fun, fun, fun! Wedding at the fabulous Moddershall Oaks, Staffordshire.
When former serviceman Nathan met Alice, his defences were knocked out. All manoeuvres culminating in their fantastic wedding at Moddershall Oaks https://www.facebook.com/moddershalloaks
How the boys prepare….

When we say prepare, that means fix the car on the actual morning. Andrew offered a few words of ‘advice’ as he supervised from the back. We can’t say our job doesn’t offer variety!
At least they didn’t put their glad rags on first!
Modestly proud.

Having served us all in his former life as an army serviceman, Nathan chose not to make an ostentatious display of his service, but to keep it with him. As a service person, though retired, we were happy to give the discounts offered to our service, blue light & NHS personnel. They deserve it.
Now that’s style!

No ordinary limmo for this groom. Instead a vintage Alpha Romeo Montreal. Classic. I have to admit, the Landrover at the back would be my first choice.

A perfect place to feature the rings. Alice’s is so delicate next to Nathan’s.

A quiet moment before heading off to meet his bride.
How the girls do it….

The bright, vibrant colours of her flowers contrast with the delicate detail of Alice’s engagement ring.

A last minute touch from Mum. That’s what Mums do.

Only Mum and her Maid of Honour had seen her dress in it’s full glory. A few tissues and make up repairs were needed.

Daddy’s girl.
Opportunities in the oddest places.

Sometimes photo opportunities are not as obvious as you think. Karen spotted this tiny wild flower patch opposite the house Just about 20 ft long & 8 ft wide, between a carpark fence and a playpark fence was a perfect frame for our beautiful bride.

Here comes the bride…

The British summer didn’t let us down, so the outdoor ceremony with it’s lakeside views.

She’s almost here.

Promises made.

A little reassurance as Nathan makes his emotional vows.

She loves you. These are the quiet moments you don’t see as you concentrate solely on each other. These are the memories we are there to get for you.

An exchange of rings, a beautiful hand fasting and you’re married.

You may kiss your wife, no permisson required.
A little quiet time for Mr & Mrs Smith.

Just a pair of mad photographers lurking in bushes to get precious photos.

The laughs in between make the best shots sometimes.

https://www.facebook.com/moddershalloaks has such a variety of photo opportunites in a relatively close area. Woodland, lakeside & floral displays. No 5 mile walks to find something stunning.

Because there are 2 of us covering all angles of the day, Karen can shoot across the lake….

While Andrew goes overhead with the drone. Love this!
Boys will be boys.

When you get a bunch of ex Squaddies together, it can get a bit ‘lively’. The other versions of this are best kept out of the public eye….
The suits stood up to the challenge too. https://www.next.co.uk/

The girls behaved in a perfectly ladylike manner of course. Lots of room to have fun in their bridesmaids dresses from https://pomuyoo.co.uk/collections/bridesmaid-dress

What’s good for the gander, is good for the goose.
Surprise, surprise!!

When the bride’s Mum whispers that she has a surprise for them, it’s sometimes hard to keep a straight face when we can see The Silver Service Singers https://www.facebook.com/silverservicesingers/ trying to look unobtrusive before taking the room by storm. No one was left sitting as Alice lead the conga line.
Keep calm & admire the stunning bride.

Even a small patch of flowers makes something special.

Lets dance.

The perfect couple.

Aanndd a maybe not so perfect pair!
Inspired by music from https://www.davedeeweddingdiscos.co.uk/ and a little of the supplies from the bar!
The grand finale.

Perfect end to a perfect day.
