Absolutely FABUUULOUS Wedding! A big day at Plas Maenen, North Wales.
It’s a huge privilege ( and a teeny bit daunting!) when a fellow photographer invites you to cover their wedding.
Sarah & Pete decided to finally tie the knot at the incredible Plas Maenen Hotel @plas_maenen in the stunning Conwy valley. Their favourite place in the world to be, and one of ours too!
The British summer turned up for the day for their dream outdoor ceremony.
HAIR & MAKE UP!
Following an amazing job of hair & makeup by @lookfabulous_by_sinead, Sarah’s girls made sure her majesty was fully pampered before dressing. Poor Pete was well into his ‘trying to keep calm’ and cool in the incredible heat.

Sarah’s stunning gown & veil by @robertas_bridal featured beautiful blush pink applique roses.
WHAT ABOUT THE FLOWERS??
The bridal suite gives incredible views across the valley, a fabulous backdrop to emphasise the beautiful bride, with the gorgeous natural bouquet of creamy roses. One of the fantastic bespoke creations by @natalyashomestory flowers.
Pete’s a patient man, quietly waiting in the blazing sun. With the family who travelled from Staffordshire, Cornwall & The Netherlands to celebrate.
Don’t worry, Pete, she’s on her way.

That’s the smile you want to see coming towards you.
Just when you don’t think it can get any better, the fly boys from RAF Valley join the celebrations in a Hawk jet! That will certainly never be repeated.
ALL THE PLANNING PAYS OFF.
Sarah & Pete worked so hard in the months before their big day, creating all the decorations for the venue. Sarah worked her magic on flower baskets and garlands galore. Pete made their unique A frame arch which the florist Natalya customised with real flowers just before the ceremony.
Mr & Mrs Jones. At last.

As the sun goes down, a chance to reflect on the day you worked so hard for.
Celebrate good times… perhaps it was a good idea to change from her amazing dress into something a bit more fun for this. It gets a bit messy when you’re having a laugh.
